# Adding Key Results and Other Subgoals

> Adding subgoals to an existing goal

There are three ways to add subgoals (e.g. Key Results, initiatives) to an existing goal.

## 1. Adding the subgoal via the `+` button next to the parent goal

## 2. Adding the subgoal on the parent goal detail view
